1. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing, scheduling, or receiving services from The Scoop Force (“Company,” “we,” “us”), the customer (“Client,” “you”) agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement governing all services provided.
2. Services Provided
The Scoop Force provides pet waste removal services on a recurring or one-time basis.
- Services are performed on a route-based schedule
- Specific arrival times are not guaranteed
- Service days may shift due to routing, weather, or operational needs
3. Access to Property
Client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the service area.
- Gates must be unlocked and accessible
- Dogs must be secured if necessary for technician safety
Failure to provide access:
- Service will be considered completed
- Client will still be charged in full
- Return visits may incur an additional fee
4. Dog Safety & Assumption of Risk
Client represents that all dogs on the property are safe and non-aggressive.
Client agrees:
- To restrain or remove any aggressive or unpredictable dogs
- That Company has the right to refuse service if a dog is deemed unsafe
Assumption of Risk:
Client accepts full responsibility for any injury, damage, or incident caused by their dog(s).
5. Indemnification
Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Scoop Force from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Dog bites or animal-related incidents
- Unsafe property conditions
- Failure to disclose hazards
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Scoop Force shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Total liability is capped at the amount paid for the most recent month of service
Company is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing property damage
- Hidden or concealed hazards (including but not limited to sprinklers, debris, holes, or sharp objects)
- Damage caused by normal foot traffic
7. Service Scope Limitations
Service includes removal of visible pet waste only.
The following may impact service quality and are the Client’s responsibility:
- Tall grass
- Leaves, debris, or overgrowth
- Poor yard conditions
Company does not guarantee removal of waste that is:
- Obstructed
- Frozen to the ground
- Hidden beneath debris
8. Weather & Service Delays
Service may be delayed due to weather, including but not limited to:
- Rain
- Snow
- Extreme heat
In such cases:
- Service will be rescheduled at Company’s discretion
- Routes may shift days
No refunds or credits will be issued due to weather-related delays.
9. Billing & Payment Authorization
By signing up for service, Client authorizes The Scoop Force to charge their payment method on file.
- Billing occurs on a recurring basis (monthly or as agreed)
- Payments must be made in advance of service
If payment fails:
- Service may be paused or canceled
- Company may retry payment at its discretion
10. Refund Policy
All sales are final.
- No refunds for completed or scheduled services
- No refunds for missed service due to lack of access
- No refunds for dissatisfaction related to yard condition limitations
10A. Mid-Billing Cycle Cancellation (No Prorated Refunds)
All services are billed in advance on a recurring billing cycle.
If the Client cancels service after a billing cycle has started:
- The Client will retain service access for the remainder of the paid period
- No partial, prorated, or mid-cycle refunds will be issued
- Service will terminate at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise specified
This applies regardless of service usage, including:
- Missed visits
- Customer-requested pauses
- Property access issues
- Weather-related rescheduling
Exceptions may be made at Company’s sole discretion.
11. Satisfaction Guarantee
The Scoop Force may offer a satisfaction guarantee.
To qualify:
- Client must report the issue within 24 hours of service
- Company will determine appropriate resolution (re-service or other remedy)
Guarantee does not apply to:
- Conditions outside Company control
- Issues related to Sections 3, 7, or 8
12. Service Suspension & Termination
Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service at any time for any reason, including:
- Unsafe conditions
- Aggressive animals
- Non-payment
Client may cancel service at any time prior to the next billing cycle.
13. Photos & Communication Consent
Client agrees that The Scoop Force may:
- Send service-related communications (texts, emails)
- Provide service confirmation photos (e.g., gate closure)
These are for operational and quality assurance purposes.
14. No Guarantees or Warranties
Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Company does not guarantee:
- A completely waste-free yard under all conditions
- Specific timing of service
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of
North Carolina
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court.
Client agrees:
- To waive the right to a jury trial
- To waive participation in class actions
17. Changes to Terms
The Scoop Force reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
